Mamie Young

Born in Guangzhou, China, and based in Los Angeles, Young earned a degree in Architecture with a minor in Film Production from the University of Southern California. After graduation, she entered the film industry as a Graphic Artist, collaborating with major studios such as Disney, HBO, and Netflix.

Her artistic inspiration stems from a deep interest in material culture and objects' influential role in shaping societal perceptions. Young's creations explore the pervasive use of inflatables in everyday life, using them as a lens to examine their roles as marketing tools and visual spectacles.
